I gotta new Digital Camera
Woop!! so after over a year of 'thinking' bout it, I finally actually got round to buying one.
I wasn't really sure what camera I wanted, what I wanted it to do or even what I wanted to do with it.... which isn't really good.
But I saw one in a Currys leaflet (Fuji Finepix S5700) and quite liked the spec (7.1MP, 10x Optical Zoom) and the price (£129) so decided to go down for an 'in-store demo' from a very knowledgeable guy, who happened to remind me of PC World adverts (Ha!).
Anyway when I was there it turned out the offer ended (but they forgot to put any 'offer ends...' dates on the leaflets) and was now £159.99. But there was another one, a couple models up for £169.99 which was the Fuji Finepix S6500fd. which was alot better anyway and only £10 more and it was cheaper on Amazon too, only £155, so it was a dead cert. I even got an extra £10 off too because my brother got it on his account and gets student discount.
Camera came yesterday and I had a little (ok big) play with it, and its soooooo complex. Has loads of features, functions and settings. But am sure I'll get used to it. If you want to see an example of my 'tests' you can see my Super Macro test of some random flower on Flickr.
