I got my Wii...
So, on Tuesday I got my Nintendo Wii along with Monkey Balls: Banana Blitz. I have to say i find it rather stupid you only get one controller, considering the consoles promoted for parties and to be enjoyed with others. Though at least you get the nun chucks with it.
Now, Ive been playing on my cousins since he got his in December so its not really anything new, but its still fun. I really like Wii Sport, Bowling has to be my favorite of the 5 games, and either Boxing or Tennis is my least favorite. Boxing because it tires you out to easily, and Tennis because it doesn't seem to work very well.
Baseball is great, though if your the pitcher you can easily cheat, by holding 'A' and 'B' (forgot the name for the bowl but eh). My cousin and I have a rule, that we're not allowed to use it.
My cousin brought round his Wii on Christmas Day and it was amazing to see how people (like my mum) who never play computer games got into it so easily, properly because you 'are' bowling. But it was great to see.
Am pretty disappointed with Monkey Balls: Banana Blitz main game, its rather dull and doesn't have much too it, all you do is tilt the Wii-mote to move the monkey ball and i find it rather boring.
But, I don't regret getting it, Why? Simple, The 50 'Party Games' that also comes with it. There great and i love 'Monkey Wars' cant wait for more controllers so I can Multi-player with it. I also like the Hovercraft battle one, its clever how they did the controls on that.
Though with Monkey Balls you dont need Wii Sports as it has boxing, bowling, tennis, baseball and golf on it which I think is kind of stupid. It also appears that Mario Party has most, if not all, of the Wii Sports games too.
Well now i have to a few more controllers and decide which game to get next....
