Well Halloween came and went and it was better than last year. Last year didn't get one single knock on the door not even a Scally in a scream mask, if your lucky otherwise they just put their hood up thinking it classed as a costume. Anyway saw a few kids come to the door and I was impressed to find they'd made an effort on their costumes.

I used to love Halloween as a kid, dressin' up (mostly as Dracula) knocking on doors an getting sweets (or Apples ). The idea of monsters, ghosts and ghouls (and sweets) its just such a great holiday, far better than crappy Easter that nobody even remembers what its about (that's Jesus if you forgot). It's a shame all the holidays have become meaningless and commercially invaded messes, just like with Christmas, who even thinks of Jesus? and who thinks of getting presents? yeah, point proven.

Oh well, next is Bonfire Night, celebrating the defeat of terrorists, umm can smell the gunpowder already ... oh wait thats the scally's setting fireworks off behind my house.
